your future with us. Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) are seeking
an Experienced (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Safety & Airworthiness
Specialist to join our team onsite in Renton, WA. Primary
responsibilities: Ensures certification project meet international
type validation requirements. Performs configuration verification/
Major Minor audits. Drives completion of IPT work statement to
ensure that key program milestones are met (i.e. Cert Plan
submittal, cert basis, TIA, Type board, PSOC, and incremental
closure). Provides support and coordination for certification basis
edits. Provides support and coordination with IPT and Reg admin for
completion of DDL/DDC and ADs for ATC projects. Coordinates with
certification plan owners and track/manage cert plans and cert plan
deliverables to ensure timely submittals. Leads the development,
maintenance, and communication of strategies, policies, and
initiatives to enhance safety and airworthiness of Boeing products
and services. Researches, analyzes, and assesses complex safety and
regulatory data, trends, and developments for impact to Boeing
products and services. Influences safety and airworthiness
initiatives through applying specialized technical expertise in
airspace operations, human factors, air navigation, customer
operations, safety management, policy, or regulatory domains.
Collaborates with external stakeholders (customers, regulators,
industry, and external organizations) to identify complex safety
and airworthiness issues and develops and implements solutions.
Addresses complex safety and regulatory technical inquires and
support requests from internal and external stakeholders. Leads the
investigation of organizational factors that contribute to safety
and airworthiness issues. Develops, deploys and implements safety
and regulatory policy, standards, and guidance. Advocates
internally and externally for safety and regulatory enhancements to
support Boeing products and services. Provides technical guidance
and training relative to complex safety and airworthiness matters.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): Level 3: 6
years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. Level 4: 10 years of related work
experience or an equivalent combination of education and
experience. Experience with project management and self-managing
projects. Desire to work in a collaborative environment and ability
to interact well with various levels of leadership and front-line
employees Ability to accomplish goals on a self-directed basis
Experience leading cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills and Experience): Experience with the ODA
(Organization Designation Authorization) procedures Bachelor of
Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including
Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science,
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
directly related to the work statement Experience working as a cert
plan owner Experience working with Airplane systems and/or
certification Experience working with FAA and with the Boeing
Safety and Airworthiness (SAW) processes Experience with Microsoft
tools and SharePoint Attention to detail Critical thinking
experience Experience communicating effectively and ability to
collaborate across cross functional organizations and entities Drug

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range :
Experienced (Level 3): $102,000 - $138,000 Senior (Level 4):
$127,500 - $172,500 Applications for this position will be accepted
