Company Overview We are a growing commercial furniture company
providing high-quality, design-forward furniture solutions for
offices, hospitality, healthcare, and commercial environments. Our
growth is driven by proactive outreach, strong relationships, and a
consultative sales approach. We are looking for a motivated Junior
Sales Representative to help expand our pipeline through consistent
prospecting and new business activity. Position Overview The Junior
Sales Representative is a front-line, new-business-focused role
responsible for generating and qualifying new sales opportunities.
This position is ideal for someone early in their sales career who
is hungry, organized, and comfortable with outbound activity. You
will spend the majority of your time prospecting new accounts,
engaging potential customers, and setting meetings for yourself and
senior sales team members. Over time, this role is expected to
evolve into a full-cycle sales position. Core Responsibilities: New
Business Development & Prospecting Proactively identify and
prospect new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails,
LinkedIn, and in-person outreach. Build and manage a targeted list
of prospects including: businesses and corporate offices; property
managers and developers; architects and interior designers; general
contractors and facilities teams. Consistently hit daily and weekly
activity targets (calls, emails, meetings set). Qualify inbound and
outbound leads to determine fit, budget, and timeline. Pipeline &
Meeting Generation Schedule introductory meetings, showroom visits,
and discovery calls. Conduct initial discovery conversations to
understand client needs and upcoming projects. Hand off qualified
opportunities to senior sales reps or progress them independently
as skills develop. Maintain an active and healthy sales pipeline
focused on new logo acquisition. Sales Process Support Assist with
basic product recommendations and early-stage budget estimates.
Support senior reps with follow-up, proposal coordination, and next
steps on active opportunities. Track opportunity progress and
ensure timely follow-up with prospects. CRM & Reporting Accurately
log all prospecting activity, notes, and next steps in the CRM
system. Track personal activity metrics, meetings set, and
opportunities generated. Participate in regular pipeline and
activity review meetings. Learning & Development Learn commercial
furniture product lines, pricing structures, and use cases. Develop
consultative selling and discovery skills through training and
mentorship. Shadow senior reps on meetings, site walks, and project
presentations. Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent
experience preferred. 02 years of experience in sales, business
development, or customer-facing roles. Strong communication skills
and confidence speaking with new contacts. Comfortable with
outbound prospecting and rejection. Highly motivated, competitive,
and goal-oriented. Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
Familiarity with CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a
plus. Interest in commercial furniture, interiors, or the built
environment is preferred. What Success Looks Like Consistently
generating new qualified meetings and opportunities. Building a
strong personal prospect list and pipeline. Demonstrating
improvement in discovery, qualification, and closing skills.
Progressing toward managing opportunities independently within 612
months. Compensation & Growth Competitive base salary plus
commission or spiff structure tied to new business activity. Clear
career path into a full Sales Representative or Account Executive
role. Ongoing training, mentorship, and exposure to large
commercial projects.
