Salary: $145,000 - $166,000

Summary
The Pile Driving Superintendent is tasked with supervising and
coordinating all pile-driving activities on site. This position
demands extensive experience in construction management, thorough
understanding of pile-driving methods, and strong leadership
skills. The Pile Driving Superintendent is responsible for
effectively scheduling and coordinating materials, subcontractors,
personnel, and equipment to insure the safe completion of the
project at the specified quality. Must be a leader and champion for
safe working conditions and work practices; commitment to hazard
recognition and control must be obvious and unrelenting.
The Superintendent's leadership is demanded on site at all times
during construction hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
include the following; Additional duties may be assigned.
Supervise foremen assigned to pile driving as a liaison between
field engineering, estimating, and crafts to ensure compliance of
construction with drawings and specifications
Work in partnership with project managers, engineers, and crews to
create detailed plans for pile-driving operations on site
Assist the project management team in tracking and managing
costs
Supervise the operation and upkeep of pile-driving equipment,
ensuring it remains in excellent working condition and complies
with all safety regulations.
Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring schedule, budget,
quality, and safety agreements are met
Establish quality control standards and supervise their
implementation
Keep accurate field notes and produce daily reports
Ensures compliance with Manson's Code of Ethics and Standards of
Business Conduct.
Track and evaluate JSA's (Job Safety Analysis) and other
Site-Specific Safety Documentation
Maintain a high standard of ethical behavior, encourages ethical
behavior in others, supports ethical decisions and actively seeks
appropriate resolution to potential ethical conflicts.
Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an
Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of
employment.

Qualifications
Minium of 10 years of construction experience
Must have hands on field experience as well as supervisory
experience in a specific construction discipline (Marine
construction, structures, heavy lifts or concrete experience
preferred).
Recent experience as a pile-driving superintendent
Knowledge of surveying and survey control
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or
related field preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving
record.
First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred
OSHA Certification, preferred
Fall Protection Competent Person, preferred
Job Location
Current project is based out of Anchorage, Alaska and is expected
to complete December 2029. The first 10 months of employment will
be based in Seattle, reporting out of our main office.

Over 75% of the time will require working outside on the job site
and equipment. Less than 25% of the time will require working at a
desk. This position will require relocations or travel depending of
the project location and requirements.
Physical Demands
Position is primarily a field position and will require travel,
including visits and monitoring of construction job sites.
Employees must be able to wear the personal protective equipment
(PPE) required of various construction work environments (hard
hats, personal floatation devices, safety glasses, gloves,
safety-toed shoes, respirators, etc). The employee is required to
stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with
hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to
25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to navigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, work
on and disembark floating vessels and structures. The employee may
be required to sit for extended periods of time.
