Skilled Tradesman - Carpenter--

Parkview Property Services LLC (PPS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Parkview Services a non-profit organization located in Lynnwood, Washington. PPS is a general contractor specializing in accessibility modifications such as ramps, grab bars, and roll-in showers as well as kitchen & bathroom remodeling; deck and fence repair or installation. We are searching for an experienced Carpenter in residential carpentry.--The ideal candidate will deliver quality results to support our home remodeling business that serves the needs of homeowners and landlords in King and Snohomish Counties. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.--

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:--



--- Work individually as a carpenter and as a team player with the rest of the crew to complete home construction, repair, remodeling, and maintenance projects.--
--- Provide quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service to the clientele of every background without exception.--
--- Read, interpret, and implement scopes of work, estimates, and proposals.--
--- Communicate with leadership, office staff, and other carpenters in a professional manner.--
--- Understand, interpret, and operate a field management system--
--- Ensure that the field management system is updated appropriately, accurately, and promptly.--

Required Qualifications--

--- 3-5 years of professional work in home construction, remodeling, and/or repair.--
--- Although not required, it is a plus for a candidate to also have tiling experience.--
--- Have a knowledge of local building codes.--
--- Has the ability to operate individual and multi-person hand and power tools safely and proficiently.--
--- Ability to stay focused and maintain quality and efficiency standards with minimal supervision.--
--- Ability to problem solve and work independently in the best interests of the company and the client.--
--- Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner--
--- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with moderate frequency.--
--- Applicants must have a valid Washington State Driver's License.--
--- Applicants must have a clean driving record, with the exception of minor moving infractions.--
--- Must have reliable transportation to and from the office on a daily basis.--
--- Company vehicle will be issued after a short probationary period.

--- This position will have frequent encounters with vulnerable adults. Therefore, all applicants must be eligible for this position pursuant to RCW 43.43.842. Unfortunately, at this time, there are no waivers for this requirement.

Responsibilities:

Read blueprints and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
Quantify, shape, cut, and smooth carpentry materials
Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furniture
--- Work primarily unsupervised to complete carpentry work in an accurate, safe, and professional manner
--- Perform job duties individually and as part of a team

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred
Proficient in carpentry tools, techniques, and materials
Strong measuring and math skills required
Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
Completed carpentry apprenticeship required
