Salary range: $65,000 - $104,000EvergreenHealth is looking for a Compensation Analyst working full-time in our Human Resources department located in Kirkland, Washington.Job SummaryResponsible for the day-to-day administration of routine compensation assignments. May assist in the coordination of the organizations compensation functions as directed.Primary Duties:Assists in the development, maintenance, and administration of current compensation program for all exempt, non-exempt, and management employee.Under the direction of the Director, provides analytical support to the administration of compensation programs, analyses a variety of compensation surveys, prepares statistical analysis and summaries and special reports, and makes compensation recommendations.Collaborates with Human Resources staff in the development of, or changes to, job descriptions and determining job classifications. Prepares and assists managers with preparation of job descriptions. Manages job documentation, job descriptions, databases and tables related to job codes.Researches, gathers, and analyzes data to find out appropriate salary level and job title for new positions. Conducts market pricing and job evaluation work analysis to ensure compensation programs meet organizational policy and applicable regulatory requirementsParticipates in formal salary surveys, interpreting salary data, performing analysis and reports on market data. Responsible for all aspects of data collection, processing, and completion of formal salary surveys throughout the year.Assists with coordination and maintenance of the Performance Appraisal system.Prepares supporting data for the review of annual salary budget.Utilizes PeopleSoft processes to develop basic queries and reports.Consults with management and staff on interpretation of compensation policies and procedures. Provides support to HR department concerning interpretation of compensation practices and guidelinesAssists in development and subsequent maintenance and administration of variable pay programs and related organizational systems.Performs other duties as assigned.License, Certification, Education or Experience:REQUIRED for the position: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field; equivalent relevant education/experience Progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in an integrated medical center environment 2-years direct Compensation experience including, but not limited to, salary surveys, market analysis, and reclassifications Mathematical aptitude and analytical skills Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail while managing multiple complex projects and priorities to successfully meet deadlines and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills Effective written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of employees, physicians, volunteers, management, and public relationsDESIRED for the position: Previous healthcare experience Human Resources Information System (HRIS) expertise Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification CCP certification Current knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to human resources compensationPM21PI192248303
