The Senior QA Analyst will be embedded directly within Feature Team(s) and is the primary point of contact regarding the QA status of their assigned area(s). The Senior QA Analyst has an expert knowledge regarding their assigned features and works closely with Producers, other members of QA and Developers to ensure proper testing coverage and that issues are being identified / tracked / prioritized appropriately.The DailyAn active member embedded with the Feature TeamAttend/Participate in Team MeetingsValidate and Test Game Features as they are implementedResearch, Log and Escalate important issues; Validate new features when brought online or verifying fixes when fixedProvide Feedback based on actual gaming experienceOversee creation, maintenance and execution of test cases and other documentation needed for the successful testing of our game.Communicate with Development, Production, Internal and External QA teams to provide timely and accurate updates related to the project and immediately escalates critical issues to appropriate stakeholders.Manage day-to-day activity in the issue tracking database for assigned area.Performs other tasks at the discretion of Production or the Development QA ManagerThe Essentials3+ years in software quality assurance in gamesThe ability to accurately troubleshoot and identify software and hardware problems and describe the issue to others in a clear and concise manner.Strong leadership capabilities including verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, planning and execution oversightMust be self-motivated and results oriented, able to balance large volumes of work across assigned staff.Should possess a combination of strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment to independently handle issues related to their workHas expert knowledge of the product development cycle (overall organization, processes and workflows)The Nice to HavesCreated all QA documentation, including test plans, test suites, and any other necessary QA documents for game development projects.Participated in all phases of full-cycle game development and shipped multiple titlesExperience working within Development TeamExperience interfacing with Publishing or Outsource QAKnowledge of certification standards for Microsoft (TCR compliance), Sony (TRC compliance), or Nintendo (Lot Check)Familiar with JIRA, Confluence and/or PerforceGame Design and/or Coding ExperienceThe PerksExclusive WarnerMedia events and advance screeningsPaid time off every year to volunteer for eligible employeesAccess to well-being tools, resources, and freebiesAccess to in-house learning and development resourcesPart of the WarnerMedia family of powerhouse brandsWarnerMedia embraces the opportunity to build a workforce that reflects the diversity of our society and the world around us.
