Job Description:

This position is for both a part-time and full-time Driver's Education Instruction & Examiner. You will teach teenagers and adults how to drive safely, teach Driver's Education classes to teenagers following Washington Department of Licensing's requirements, and with additional training, you may proctor Knowledge Tests and conduct Road Tests with teens and adults alike. This is a flexible job so you create your own schedule. You may work as much or as little as you want. It's the perfect job if you are going to school and need to earn income with a flexible job. Our Instructors are retired Police, Military Police, and active EMT/Nursing students. We provide paid training at $20/hour which can take a minimum of 60 hours if you have a police background, or 100 hours without a police background. A background check and fingerprints with the Department of Licensing is required and will be paid for by the school. You will also need to pass the Washington Department of Licensing Instructor Knowledge Test and Road test before you can be certified by the state. Once certified by the state, you will be paid $27.50/hour and also receive 5 paid holidays.
