Kenworth is the first truck manufacturer to receive the Environmental Protection Agency''s Clean Air Excellence award in recognition of its environmentally friendly products.Job Functions / Responsibilities:The AP Production Supervisor reports to the General Accounting Manager and is responsible for managing AP Production team ( 4 direct reports). The position interacts frequently with Division Accounting teams, Division Controller, Kenworth plants, Corporate Accounting, and Corporate Purchasing team. The primary responsibilities include:* Supervise daily AP Production activities to ensure invoices are processed timely, review daily invoices posted in SAP for accuracy, review vendor edits requests and perform monthly, quarterly and annual vendor statement review* Prepare monthly retro/surcharge reserve analysis for forecast, work closely with Corporate Purchasing team to ensure forecast accuracy and present forecast analysis to Division Controller* Review and code retro/surcharge invoices and submit to Division Controller for approval* Perform actual to forecast analysis as part of month-end close for retro/surcharge accounts and record adjustment entries in SAP* Process monthly intercompany cross-charges* Submit monthly SAP local ledger to BFC (Consolidating system), prepare BFC Flows and prepare BFC package for management''s review* Prepare monthly account reconciliations for Retro/Surcharge reserve accounts, Leased Assets/Liabilities, AP Trade, Allocation, Clearing account and other assigned accounts* Prepare quarterly reporting packages requested by Corporate* Prepare annual tax and purchasing reporting packages* Publish weekly AP KPIs using Tableau and review with AP team to monitor team performance* Work closely with external auditors to prepare supporting schedules for AP Production and other items as assigned* Participate in documentation and testing for Sarbanes Oxley* Perform other special projects and tasks as assigned* Ability to communicate complex accounting issues at an executive level* Coach AP Production team and provide timely performance reviewQualifications & Skills* Strong computer skills in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macros, charts and graphs) and data analytic tools (i.e. tableau, etc.)* Ability to work independently and self-motivated, handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment* Attention to detail with the ability to understand the ''big picture''Required Education/Experience:* Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance* 5+ years of relevant accounting or work experience* Supervisory experience preferredDesired Education/Experience:* Big 4 public accounting experience* SAP experience preferred* Experience in manufacturingAdditional Internal InformationPACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.by Jobble
