Gastro Health is currently looking for an enthusiastic full-time Patient Services Representative to join our team!

Our Patient Representatives dabble in functions including customer service, telephone queue management, scheduling, insurance card verification, registration, co-pay collections, and end-of-day closure procedures.

Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:

• Ensure that all provider schedules are appropriately populated, telephones are responded to within established protocols, and complete registration information is verified during each patient encounter.
• Respond to patient inquiries via telephone and digital messaging in a courteous efficient manner.
• Appropriately schedules appointments meeting the needs of patients and the physician's schedule.
• Serve as the "liaison" for the patient's medical care by streamlining all patient-physician communications.
• Facilitate patient check-out, communicate test results and update electronic medical records as needed. Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Experience with EMR applications preferred Gastro Health is the largest gastroenterology multi-specialty group in the country.
