Working as an Assessment Specialist at Fairfax allows you to
collaborate and engage with a multidisciplinary team while working
with an acute population. You will work with patients to assess
their psychosocial needs and identify discharge plans by meeting
1:1 with patients and collaborating with families and/or outpatient
providers by completing Psychosocial Assessments for all new
admissions. The Assessment Specialist will work under the guidance
of a Licensed Social Worker to meet all regulatory standards and
requirements. We are looking for compassionate and skilled
individuals to bring additional expertise and experience to our
team. Use your therapeutic skills to watch the growth of patients
and make a lasting impact. Wage Range:Minimum: $23.10/hourMaximum:
$32.64/hour
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or
equivalent work experience; mental health field experience
requiredAdditional Requirements
- A LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or Agency Affiliated licensure required (can
be obtained upon hire)
- 1 year post-Bachelor's experience in a psychiatric health care
setting preferred, not required
- Direct experience with crisis intervention, case
conceptualization, and discharge planning.
- Strong clinical assessment and case conceptualization skills
required.
- Completion of CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal
De-Escalation trainings required.*For those with Master's level
associate licensure, Fairfax may provide supervision of hours to
help our employees achieve their goal of independent licensure.*

per pay period for Full-time employees, and is prorated according
to hours worked for part-time employees
