Job DescriptionSalary: As a smaller family owned sporting goods retailer we are focused on giving exceptional customer service to all customers and potential customers. We pride ourselves in creating a great local shopping atmosphere in store and highly value building long term professional relationships in all facets of our business.RESPONSIBILITIES would include but not be limited to:

• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide an excellent sales & service experience
• Fitting customers with equipment and proper sporting goods
• Being personally accountable for operational procedures and expectations
• Maintaining personal and shop productivity goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Builds professional relationships with every customer and potential customer by asking open-ended questions that will help assess their needs.
• Ability to learn, maintain and share expertise of products, industry and trends.
  • Contributes to a positive, productive and passionate work environment every shift.
  • Needs to be able to work evenings and weekends.QUALIFICATIONS
    • 0-3 years of retail experience
    • Enthusiastic and passionate about sports and sporting goods.
      • Able to unconditionally deliver exceptional customer service.
      • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
      • Disciplined and focused on results and operational excellence
      • Must be proactive and Initiate completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
      • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
