Looking For:SUMMARY: The Houseman is responsible for responding to
the needs of housekeepers, management, front desk, dispatch and
guest service calls. The Houseman must follow the required
procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of
objects/materials and/or the clean-up of blood, infectious
materials, or body fluids containing blood in accordance with the
OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standards. The Houseman will assist in
maintaining the Hotel Standards.The Houseman shall strive to
provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at
all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Woodmark
Hotel & Still Spa Culture as well as promoting our hotel values of
Honesty, Enthusiasm, Integrity, Accountability and Passion for
Service.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Provides prompt response to all
service callsMaintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e.
broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and
suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty
supervisor. Acts with responsibility towards all company property,
supplies and equipmentResponsible for delivery of requested guest
itemsResponds to any applicable guest, front desk or housekeeping
request as neededReceives and stores incoming freight accurately
and promptlyMaintains effective organization, layout, cleanliness,
security, upkeep and maintenance of all storage closets and
facilitiesKeeps accurate and legible records of all
servicesMaintains active key control and securityHelps maintain a
clean and safe working environment in the housekeeping
departmentAdheres to the established Lost and Found
ProceduresImmediately report maintenance requests to supervisor
Communicates all pertinent information to the housekeeping
teamAttends appropriate department, hotel and division
meetingsMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all hotel
amenities as well as any special eventsReports to work on time and
according to posted schedule, maintains accurate time records
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Woodmark Hotel
dress code standardsRemains alert, courteous and helpful to the
guests and colleagues at all timePerforms other related duties as
assignedEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:Prior hospitality experience
preferredPrior Houseman experience preferred One year of customer
service experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent
requiredHospitality specialty degree of prior hospitality
experience preferredJOB REQUIREMENTS:Must be a United States
citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be at least 18 years of
ageMust have a natural ability to interact with othersMust be able
to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to accurately follow

WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to stand on feet throughout the
shift, with intermittent periods of walking;Must be able to
frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height; Must be
able to occasionally push/pull up to 75 lbsMust be able to perform
simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm
movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching
occasionally. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push,
pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis;Must be able
to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally;
infrequently climb a ladderWhile primarily an indoor job, must be
able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain,
wind, snow, heat);Must be able to climb stairs occasionally, both
indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind,
