JOB SUMMARY

Product support of Cabin Electronics products. This includes addressing the resolution of manufacturing and field relatedproblems, developing and evaluating design and process improvements, addressing componentsourcing and obsolescence, and conducting qualification and verification testing associated with design changes.

* Identify and resolve production, field, and field return problems as the electricalengineering technical expert
* Support the transition of product ownership from development to volume productionincluding the resolution of production, compliance, and field related electrical issues
* Participate in the continuous review of failure trend data, DFM, DTC, etc., data andidentify block point upgrades/refresh of existing production programs
* Lead engineering changes through testing and report generation
* Provide lessons learned information from production support activities forincorporation into the engineering design guidelines
* Coordinate with Operations and Production PMs on proposed productchanges/improvements to reduce cost/inventory impacts
* Provide mentoring to less experienced Electrical Engineers
