CalPortland, a leader in sustainable construction services since 1891, is seeking an experienced Aggregate Plant Operator-Electrician at our operations facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our electrical systems in aggregate processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in addition to operating plant machinery to meet production targets while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Operate and maintain aggregate processing equipment and electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical problems on all plant equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety and environmental rules and regulations. Record and report operational and maintenance actions in logs. Collaborate with other team members to optimize production efficiency. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Ability to operate heavy machinery. Strong understanding of safety protocols in a construction environment. Effective communication and team collaboration skills. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
