Job Description Job Description COMPANY OVERVIEW : Eagle Beverage is a manufacturer of specialty beverage and plastic consumer products. The company is looking for a dynamic, energetic and committed plant maintenance individual. GENERAL SCOPE: The Junior Mechanic is responsible for day to day production operations (performance) of all production lines and reports to the equipment maintenance manager. The Eagle Beverage team is a group of motivated individuals who are dedicated to serving our customers and having our products increase their global reach. Eagle Beverage is an SQF certified organization operating to meet the highest levels of food safety and security. Essential Job Functions: Ensure all production lines are operating smoothly and efficiently throughout the day. Set up days production according to Daily Production Plan Perform Machine set up and calibration for individual products along with alignment/adjustment as needed during ongoing production. Perform machine change overs on products. Monitor all packaging/raw material movements to designated production line. Responsible for full line inspections to find, fix and resolve any downtime. Assist in necessary preventative maintenance work on production lines. Monitor product inspections by QC personnel Perform shift turn over with next shifts EPS to discuss the events of the day and issues that were faced. Other task as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities High School diploma or GED required HACCP and SQF certification or experience preferred. Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees. Problem solving skills; exercises good judgment in determining best method and procedure to be followed. Experience Two (2) or more years of experience in production environment, manufacturing quality or other elated field preferred. Experience with extrusion or packaging production equipment preferred.
