Job Description Job Description Transactional Associate Attorney – Seattle, WA Direct Counsel is seeking a transactional associate to join a growing corporate law firm in Seattle. Responsibilities: Work on a variety of corporate transactions, including entity formation, venture capital and other financing arrangements, corporate governance, and general business counseling. Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions involving both public and private companies. Collaborate effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders, including clients, transaction counterparts, and subject matter experts. Conduct legal research, draft agreements, and provide strategic guidance throughout transactional processes. Qualifications: Active license to practice law in Washington State or eligibility to waive in. 2–3 years of experience handling a broad range of corporate transactions at a law firm. Demonstrated experience in public and private company mergers, acquisitions, and related strategic transactions. Strong academic credentials and polished verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to take ownership of projects while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients. Compensation & Benefits: Anticipated salary range: $160,000–$240,000, with annual merit-based bonus eligibility.
