Job Description:
At AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), we build and
operate the authentication and authorization infrastructure that
secures the AWS cloud. Our systems process tens of millions of
transactions per second, making it one of the largest distributed
systems globally. We're part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), which
powers core AWS services including S3, EC2, and continues to drive
industry-leading innovations across Compute, Database, Storage,
IoT, Platform, and Productivity services. We're seeking a Senior
Software Development Engineer with frontend expertise to develop
and enhance user experiences across multiple AWS consoles. In this
role, you'll create intuitive, secure, and scalable frontend
solutions that help customers manage access across their AWS
environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement frontend
applications using Java and JavaScript • Collaborate with
engineers, product managers, and UX designers to build
user-friendly security management interfaces • Drive operational
excellence and continuous improvement in application performance
and security • Contribute to architectural decisions for frontend
systems at scale • Implement and maintain frontend security best

job responsibilities Collaborate with experienced
cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring
innovative products and services to market. • Design and build
innovative technologies in a large distributed computing
environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry. •
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with
exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are
scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use. •
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined
problems. • Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality
software. A day in the life You're passionate about frontend
architecture, excited about emerging web standards, and driven to
make complex security concepts accessible through intuitive user
interfaces. You thrive in an environment where you can tackle
complex problems and create maintainable solutions at massive
scale. - 5 years of non-internship professional software
development experience - 5 years of programming with at least one
software programming language experience - 5 years of leading
design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
of new and existing systems experience - Experience as a mentor,
tech lead or leading an engineering team - 5 years of full software
development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews,
source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
