Job Description:
AWS Infrastructure Services Supply Chain is seeking a supply
chain professional to function as the end-to-end supply owner of
our archive storage hardware platforms. In this role, you will
build the supply strategy that ensures we can reliably deliver the
capacity needed to enable the lowest cost and highest performance
archive in the cloud. This role is predominately focused on the
assurance of supply, but success also requires the ability to
manage commercial aspects of a complex and multi-tiered supply
chain. You’ll join a diverse team of supply chain specialists,
engineers (software, hardware and network), security experts,
operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with
people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for
safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at
the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience
an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to
own them to completion. Our organization, AWS Infrastructure
Services, owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all
AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who
keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all the
servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that
ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they
rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands
of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for
talented people who want to help. The successful candidate must be
a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, has high
attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast-paced
and ever-changing environment. Candidates must have excellent
analytical capabilities, program management experience, be
comfortable diving deep into data, have strong writing skills, lead
executive-level reviews, and effectively influence decisions at all
levels of the company. The ideal candidate will have familiarity
with at-scale hardware supply mechanisms, preferably related to
server, storage or networking platforms. Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will: • Deep dive all levels of the archive

complex supply chain strategies. • Design, develop and maintain
scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics
that drive key decisions and resource prioritization. • Understand
the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with
the internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities
that will impact our supply chain. • Produce written
recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape
solution design. • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with
ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities. Our environment is
fast-paced and requires someone who is hard-working, meticulous
with high bias for action, who gets things done at an effective
pace, gets results, and is comfortable working with tight deadlines
and changing priorities. A day in the life Key Responsibilities /
