Engineer, Data Platform - SeattleWhy We Have This RoleThe Data
Platform supports all of the Qualtrics experience management
products. Our services ingest, store, process, and perform
analytics on experience data, all at scale. We design systems for
high availability, high throughput, data consistency and security.
The platform we have built enables all of the customer, employee,
brand and product experience teams to rapidly develop data-driven
workflows and tools to help our customers manage their

participate in design and architecture, requirements gathering,

You will grow rapidly.How You'll Grow
- You will be challenged to own high impact services with high
scale and reliability requirements.
- You will develop a broader understanding of the interactions
between systems in areas such as caching, routing, queue
management, and event driven systems.
- You will gain a deeper understanding of AWS services,
Kubernetes, Spinnaker, MongoDB, and more!Things You'll Do
- Develop and operate scalable, robust, and highly available data
intensive micro services.
- Implement new features and optimize existing ones to provide
customer value.
- Partner with UX, TechOps, and Product teams to achieve the best
product designs.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with your peers,
prioritize features, serve on an on-call rotation, and consistently
deliver value to customers.What We're Looking For On Your Resume
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Has worked across teams and roles to understand needs, propose
features, and drive projects.
- Has developed and operated scalable and robust systems to solve
complex business problems using the latest technologies.
- Experience with databases, cloud computing, and distributed
systems.
- Experience with continuous delivery, git, test automation, and
build/deploy systems.
- Strong algorithms, data structures, and coding background.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- 5+ years of meaningful engineering experience.What You Should
