Electrical Technical Designer (Associate, Mid-Level and Senior) who
will provide engineering support to the KC-46A program located in
Everett, WA.The KC-46A Tanker is the most advanced aerial refueling
aircraft in the world and we need an experienced engineer with
strong electrical background to lead the Electrical Team.--Position
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly
designs
- Analyzes results and performs design reviews
- Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g.,
rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision
requests)
- Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support
the design and manufacture of electrical commodities
- Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to
facilitate source selection
- Works under minimal direction
- Proactively accomplishes work statement while providing clear
and frequent communication to their management
- Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to
facilitate source selection and provides technical support to
suppliers
- Analyzes functional and physical input to assure development of
complete integrated design
- Develops and implements basic statements of work for electrical
team
- Support study contracts, IRAD, and new business proposal
campaigns
- Interface and integrate with BT&E, BGS, BCA, and other BDS
KC-46 teams to ensure the projects are properly planned and
implemented, help needed is fulfilled, and lessons learned are
incorporated
- Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, and
problem-solving skillsThis position allows telecommuting. The
selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at
the listed location.The position must meet Export Control
compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22
C.F.R. -- 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen,
lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic--Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- --3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. (Associate Level)
- Experience in Electrical system architecture design, wiring
design & harness design.Preferred Qualifications (Desired
Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. (Mid-Level)
- 8+ years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. (Senior Level)
- Experience working with and applying aircraft design
requirements.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong written, verbal communications and presentation
skills.

- Experience in Aerospace EngineeringTypical Education &
Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through
advanced education (e.g. Associate)and typically 6 or more years'
related work experience or an equivalent combination ofeducation
and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8
