Pivotal Commware develops 5G communications platforms, systems and applications based on Holographic Beam Forming - , a patented breakthrough in electromagnetic physics. HBF allows Pivotal to create software-defined antennas that can harness, shape and direct radio waves with order-of magnitude advantages over legacy beamforming systems in cost, size, weight and power consumption (C-SWaP). The Intelligent Beam Management System (IBMS) is a cloud-based software solution providing the fundamental Management Systems (EMS, NMS) as well as the advanced intelligence features to the devices composing Pivotal Commware's ecosystem. The Senior Software Engineer is within a team that is responsible for developing the framework in the cloud (Azure), based on: - Use of serverless functions - Ensure secure interfaces between the devices, the hosting cloud and the end user interface - Handle network elements for configuration settings, automation, monitoring, self-healing and self-optimization The IBMS senior software engineer works on multiple projects, towards different clients (internal and external) in a fast-paced environment. It includes working closely with the other parts of the business, such as the embedded software team, the product management team, the new product introduction team, and the RF R&D team. This position currently reports to the Director of Software Engineering Responsibilities

• Translate the Reference Software Architecture into a product
• Test, monitor and troubleshoot the developed REST APIs
• Ensure the integration and deployment of the APIs in a CI/CD environment
• Analyze and estimate the development efforts for customer and internal feature requests
• Support the field trials through remote connection when needed
• Stay update with the latest language releases and software solutions Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of engineering (BEng) or Bachelor of science (BSc) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent at minimum
  • Knowledge and experience in coding with NodeJS
  • Knowledge and experience in coding with Python
  • Experience with development in a serverless Public Cloud environment (e.g., Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions or equivalent)
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously on multiple projects with challenging deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Capabilities in motivating a team, developing, and maintaining excellent interpersonal relations within and outside the company
  • Eligible to work in the US without need for SponsorshipDesirable Qualifications
    • Knowledge of Azure Cloud
    • Experience in handling IoT networks in a cloud environment (e.g., Azure IoT Hub)
