Assignment Length: 13 weeks - Setting: Acute Care – Labor &
Delivery Unit (L&D) - Shifts: 12-hour night shifts (8-hour
shifts as needed) - Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed (72 hours
per two weeks) - Start Date: March 8, 2026 - Charting System: EPIC
Required Qualifications - Active RN license - Minimum 1 year recent
Labor & Delivery experience (L&D, OB, or perinatal nursing) -
BLS (AHA) - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AWHONN
Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications - STABLE
certification preferred Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive
labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care to mothers and
newborns - Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced
fetal and neonatal monitoring equipment - Respond to maternal-fetal
emergencies and support safe delivery practices - Collaborate with
obstetricians, neonatologists, midwives, and interdisciplinary
teams to ensure high-quality perinatal care - Float as a sitter or
helper to other units as needed (no patient assignments outside
L&D) - Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC -
Provide postpartum education and support for new mothers and
