Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,307 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 Years License: Compact License or Single State License accepted Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Newborn resuscitation skills CPAP and high-flow experience IV start skills Experience attending high-risk deliveries Description: Position for a NICU Registered Nurse available. The role involves staffing a Level 2 Neonatal Care Unit. Ratios will be 1:1. Weekend work required unless otherwise specified. Floating within the hospital is part of the job. When the nursery is closed, the nurse will assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as a baby nurse. First-time travelers are accepted. The team supports a diverse patient population of neonates. The nurse will manage tasks such as phototherapy, breastfeeding support, and IV administration. Experience in handling neonatal emergencies and procedures is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing care for neonates over 34 weeks. Interdisciplinary cooperation is a key aspect of the nursing role. Candidates must be prepared to adapt to a shifting patient census.
