Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Weekends Required Description: This position requires night shifts of 3 or 4 twelve-hour shifts. First-time travelers are accepted. Four weekend shifts are required over a four-week period. Call is not required. Travelers will need to float between like units, specifically to Family Maternity Center or postpartum babies. This position does not accept local candidates. Pending licenses are accepted. There are no restrictions on time off requests related to holidays, but all time off must be included at the time of submission. Guaranteed hours for this position are either 36 or 48 hours. Orientation will consist of 40 hours. Travelers are expected to float as needed. Travelers regularly float between various like units within their skill set. Communication devices required for the assignment will be provided by the employer at no cost. Modules are non-billable, with an average of 16 hours spent, and completion is self-reported. Modules must be completed prior to starting and annually thereafter. Orientation hours are non-billable.
