Wage Range: $42.19 - $77.81 hourlyBonus up to $5000 available to those new to EvergreenHealth with 2+ years of current OSN experience.Relocation assistance available.Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.Job Summary:Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.The Ortho and Spine Center of Excellence (OSCE) staff are required to complete specific orientation related to the orthopedic and spine care pathways for OSCE patients. All program staff will receive the department specific orientation that guides the care of OSCE patients and eight (8) hours of education per the annual education training plan that focuses on orthopedic and spine care.Primary Duties:Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.Communicates effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.Performs other duties as assigned.License, Certification, Education or Experience:REQUIRED for the position:Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of WashingtonCurrent American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hireBachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicableDESIRED for the position:BSN or MSNBenefit Information:Choices that care for you and your familyAt EvergreenHealth, we appreciate our employees commitment and contribution to our success.
