Wage Range: $42.19 $77.81 per hourPosted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.This is a training RN position for experienced nurses with at least one year of nursing experience who are interested in learning a new specialty. We provide about 8-12 weeks of training depending on the skill set and progress. Please refer to additional requirements below.Job Summary:Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.The Ortho and Spine Center of Excellence (OSCE) staff are required to complete specific orientation related to the orthopedic and spine care pathways for OSCE patients. All program staff will receive the department specific orientation that guides the care of OSCE patients and eight (8) hours of education per the annual education training plan that focuses on orthopedic and spine care. Primary Duties:Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.Communicates effectively all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED for the position:Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) required within 5 years of employment if applicableLicensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of WashingtonCurrent Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hireDESIRED for the position:BSN or MSNBenefit Information:Choices that care for you and your familyAt EvergreenHealth, we appreciate our employees commitment and contribution to our success.
