Looking For:SUMMARY: The Massage Therapist is responsible for
administering body treatments and massages to guests. They will
provide exceptional service to create an extraordinary guest
experience and maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.The Massage
Therapist shall strive to provide exceptional service to both
internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible
for exemplifying the Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa Culture as well as
promoting our hotel values of Honesty, Enthusiasm, Integrity,
Accountability and Passion for Service.ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS:Provides prompt service with each appointment and
performs services within the appropriate allotted timeReports to
work on time and according to posted scheduleProvides general
resort information for guestsProvides consistent professional body
treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted
certification practicesIs flexible with schedules, supporting the
needs of the spa help with Spa functions and partiesProperly cares
for the equipment and uses proper amounts of product to assist with
cost controlHas complete knowledge and understanding of all
services and products while educating and training guests in these
areas; maintains professional continuing education and on-going
product knowledgeMeeting minimum retail sales goals by actively
promoting home care programs Upholds the standards of sanitation
and sterilization as directed by law and Still Spa policies and
proceduresUpsells other hotel services and amenities to
guestsPerforms prep work and properly cleans and restocks room as
requiredCommunicates to management any and all occurrences
involving staff or guests in the spa that require attentionActively
promotes the spa, treatments, services, clinics and retail as well
as programs, promotions and/or discounts availableHandles guests
questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyProvides
accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by
guests, ensuring complete guest satisfactionPossesses the ability
to work without direct supervisionMaintains a positive attitude and
contributes toward a quality work environmentRegularly attends,
participates in and supports training and staff meetings for the
spaAssists in all areas of spa operation as requested by
managementAttends appropriate department, hotel and division
meetingsMaintains an up to date working knowledge of all hotel
amenities as well as any special eventsReports to work on time and
according to posted schedule, maintains accurate time records
Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Woodmark Hotel
dress code standardsRemains alert, courteous and helpful to the
guests and colleagues at all timePerforms other related duties as
assignedEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:High school diploma or equivalent
requiredA Valid Washington massage therapy license requiredMust be
CPR certifiedAt least two years previous experience providing
massage and body treatments in a similar setting preferredAt least
one year customer service experience requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS:Must
be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permitMust be at
least 18 years of ageMust have a natural ability to interact with
othersMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to
accurately follow verbal and written instructionsMust possesses
excellent communication skillsMust have excellent listening skills
Must be detailed-orientatedMust be able to work in a fast-paced
environment Must be professional in appearance and demeanorMust
always ensure a teamwork environmentAbility to work a flexible
schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysMust have
the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members;
and resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful
mannerMust have a passion for creating an exceptional experience
for all guests WORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to stand on feet
throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking;Must be
able to frequently lift and carry up to 40 lbs at shoulder height;
Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbsMust be able to
perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand &
arm movements constantly. Must be able to bend, squat, crawl,
kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional
basis;While primarily an indoor job, must be able to walk outside
in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat); This
