Job Description:

Wage Range: $19.20 - $28.72 per hour
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.Job Summary
Provides assistance to the department clinical staff by monitoring and providing documentation of patients requiring direct visual observation.Primary Duties

• Provides observation and documentation for patients requiring direct and indirect visual observation related to medical and/or behavioral conditions.
• Redirects patient behavior as needed to promote patient safety.
• Engages patient in diversion activities as needed.
• Provides assistance to the unit assigned at the direction of clinical staff.
• Assists with stocking of department
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  License, Certification, Education or Experience:
  REQUIRED for the position:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hireDESIRED for the position:
  • 6 months recent experience in a health care setting
  • Customer service experience
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
