Apply for Evergreen Lead Veterinary Hospital's Veterinary Front Office opening today!ResponsibilitiesLead Veterinary Front Office ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule receptionist hoursConduct receptionist meetingsSend out vaccine reminders and sympathy cardsInterview receptionist candidates and train new hiresGreet all clients with a positive greeting; answer phones; take messages and answer basic client questionsKnow the range of services the practice provides and the species it treats; advise clients/recommend services for their pets; provide estimatesDifferentiate and prioritize between routine cases and emergency cases and alert staff accordinglyUnderstand and use special record notations, and make appropriate notes in patient recordsBe familiar with infectious and common zoonotic diseases; including prevention, and the steps to reduce or eliminate transmissionMaintain medical records, establish or understand medical record filing systemsHandle all cash transactions including deposits, invoicing, and billing statementsRequired SkillsLead Veterinary Front Office QualificationsMust have a high school diploma or equivalentAdvanced animal care, client/customer interaction, receptionist experience requiredExcellent communication skillsPossess a good attitude and contribute to a positive work environmentKnowledge of and ability to use medical abbreviations
