Job Description:

The Clinical Director of Risk and Compliance provides strategic leadership and direction over the agencys clinical and case management services. They ensure the highest quality of program services and promote the highest standards of professional practice.The Clinical Director of Risk and Compliance evaluates the agencys program services by conducting internal audits, case record review, including the information obtained from client surveys, to determine and implement the necessary changes in practice. They ensure compliance with local, state, federal and the Council on Accreditation (COA) standards.Reports To: Chief Risk and Compliance Officeressential duties

  • Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of program services.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of care of program services.
  • Ensure program service compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards, including safeguarding confidential protected health information (HIPAA compliance).
  • Ensure an integrated approach to program services and that service gaps are appropriately filled.
  • Work with Senior Directors and Directors of Program to ensure program manuals are standardized and consistently updated.
  • Ensure a consistent and integrated approach to case management practices and protocols.
  • Ensure the agencys program services meet the required quality requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance team to research and develop a quality improvement program that leads to better program services outcomes.job requirements a. Education and Experience
  • Masters degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or related field.
  • Licensed in the State of Washington as a registered counselor, nurse, or social worker.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a behavioral or healthcare setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Experience with health record keeping (preferably with Electronic Health Records) client care, ethical standards and regulations and clinical policies and procedures.
  • Working experience with accreditation standards (e.g., COA, CARF, Joint Commission, etc.)
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS365 Power Platform.b. Additional Requirements
  • Must satisfactorily pass criminal history check.
  • Must satisfactorily pass tuberculosis (TB) test.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Washington State driver's license (or be able to obtain one by date of employment).
  • Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles on Friends of Youth business, must have a safe driving record as defined by Friends of Youth.
  • Employees and volunteers who operate their own vehicle(s) on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the requirements of Friends of Youth.
  • Must successfully complete the following health certification requirements within 30 days of employment: CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. There are no exemptions.c. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with individuals at all levels and across all departments and divisions of the agency, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Able to travel to multiple local sites and other locations in personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Proficient skill set with MS Office Suite programs and able to quickly learn other technology platforms. We offer:
