Functions / Responsibilities:
- Lead a Team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers in the
development of New Product Development Projects to support a
variety of opportunities that could include New Engines and
Emissions, Battery Electric, Fuel Cell, Autonomous Vehicle
Platform, Outerbody and Hoods.
- Provide Simultaneous Manufacturing Engineering input to Design
Engineering and coordinate plant input and feedback.
- Develop Manufacturing and Operations functional requirements
documents, and validation plans for software and hardware testing
and programming.
- Complete all necessary Tollgate Manufacturing Documents per the
approved schedule.
- Develop tooling and equipment budgets including prototype
tooling, supplier-based component, assembly and inspection tooling,
plant assembly tooling and equipment.
- Assist in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and
lead efforts in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA),
where appropriate.
- Review and develop new technologies for manufacturing,
assembling, programming, and testing of components and
systems.
- Supervises the acquisition and implementation of project
related capital tooling assets.Skills / Competencies:
- Degree in Engineering or related field. Master's degree in
related area, MBA or Professional Engineering license is
desirable.
- Demonstrated ability gained through 7-10 years of progressively
complex design engineering or Plant Engineering assignments;
preferably possessing 1-5 years with PACCAR.
- Training in DFSS and Advanced Quality Systems desirable.
- Detailed knowledge of product tooling, manufacturing, and
assembly processes.
- Knowledge of the software development V-cycle is
desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation
skills.
- Proven team leadership skills. High energy level, goal oriented
individual.
- Excellent organizational, PC and project management skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing
priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.Why work for

Additional Job Board Information At PACCAR, we value talent and

compensation factors including your education, training, or
experience. The salary range for Advanced Manufacturing Manager is
$104,000 - $182,500 annually. This position is also eligible for
annual incentive bonus compensationwith a target of 25% of base
pay.Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of
