Job Description:
Wage Range: $105,684 - $153,254 per yearPosted wage ranges
represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with
more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the
lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions
also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or
degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of
relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of the
Diagnostic Imaging department to ensure the highest level of
quality, in service of our patients care and satisfaction,
physician service and satisfaction and the department mission and
purpose. Creates and builds positive relationships with customers
and staff that utilize our collective expertise and technology in
the most efficient manner to accomplish a smooth and effective
workflow throughout the department, accurately and on time.
Primary Duties:
1. Provides oversight and supervision of the work performance of
clinical and clerical staff in the Diagnostic Imaging department
through direct activity or delegation to ensure the highest level
of care and satisfaction to our patients.
2. Assists in planning developing and executing a successful annual
operating budget that is within financial services guidelines and
provides the necessary resources to accomplish the mission of the
department.
3. Supervises and coordinates a smooth workflow, so that patients
are scheduled, exams are performed, reports completed and delivered
to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
4. Develops new policies, procedures; review/revise existing
procedures
5. Maintains cost effective operations through direct activity or
delegation
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
* Current ARRT, ARDMS registration/current State of Washington
Registry/Certification or Registry eligible.
* Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification by date of hire
* 3 years of clinical experience as an imaging technologist
* Management or supervisory experience in Diagnostic Imaging/Breast
Imaging
