Job Description:
Cadence 3 is seeking a passionate and creative event manager to
drive management and process best practices, manage teams and
supplier relationships, and develop client relationships and
business opportunities within Cadence 3's digital and live event
productions. Professional experience within live broadcast and/or
in-person events is essential.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Cadence 3 transitioned to supporting
our clients in delivering fully virtual events, experiences, and
product launches that set them apart and enabled them to reach
larger audiences than ever before. With this shift has come a
change in overall approach to how Cadence 3 and our clients views
the value of events, what constitutes an "event" and what's
required to lead events in a hybrid world with a global remit. The
Director of Event Experiences will be part of our leadership team
working collaboratively with our Creative Director, Executive
Producer, and clients to shape the future of events. This role will
support our clients as they re-think how they approach in-person
and digital experiences, shape the global event strategy, develop
roadmaps and create innovative experiences in-person and online
that drive business results.
This is a critical role supporting a highly visible portfolio of
events that amplifies our client's product launch, product
narrative, and audience reach for highly targeted audiences to
generate optimal business impact. This position requires strategic
thinking - to analyze data from history, trends in industry, and
current/future business need - to develop pioneering solutions that
strengthen client position in the industry. An eye to industry
trends, creativity in how to re-think in-person and digital event
experiences to excite customers and curate fans, product marketing
and storytelling, and creative problem solving are critical
attributes for this role.
In addition to client engagement, this role will manage a team of
event managers and vendors supporting in-person and digital event
experiences. The requirement of the manager will be to clearly
contextualize client vision and strategy as it applies to the
specific responsibilities and deliverables of the job, mentor
employees, develop best practices to achieve operational
excellence, and push boundaries to deliver unique experiences for
both in-person and digital events. In developing people, the
manager will clear roadblocks and create opportunity for the
continued growth of the team both within Cadence 3 and within the
industry.
Expertise in digital marketing - particularly demand gen, content
marketing and social media - as well as a proven track record in
leading global strategies and operations and the associated
financial rigor needed. This executive will be a strong people
leader who can cultivate, grow and scale the internal team while
managing relationships with key business customers, partners and
vendors. This is a deeply collaborative job working with leaders
across the company in both business units and corporate
functions.
This role requires a skilled communicator and collaborator to work
both across clients, stakeholders, and event organizations and
suppliers to build an event presence that delivers client return on
investment against goals and objectives. In all communications, it
is expected that you will be well informed of business objectives,
inherent risks to all parties, and potential benefits and
opportunities. Measuring results and impact as is a critical
component of success, so clearly defined goals and post-event
reporting are critical to success.
We are seeking a leader and team member who will bring an ability
to balance the needs of the multiple clients, problem solving
skills to work through strategy and execution challenges, while
keeping an eye to how to best realize return on investment. You
should also be able to demonstrate strong proficiency with key role
competencies including exceptional communication and organizational
skills, agile problem-solving processes, budget management, a
passion for excellence, strong cross-team collaboration abilities,
self-motivated and forward looking, and the ability to work as a
