purposeSono Bello, a leading provider of cosmetic surgery in the
United States, is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering
Manager to join our dynamic Technology Team. This is an outstanding

position is based at our beautiful Carillon Point location in
Kirkland, and the candidate will be expected to work from our
Kirkland or Scottsdale office 2-5 days per week to collaborate with
technical and business teams.The ideal candidate will have at least
5 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for
managing multiple technical people and projects, including off the
shelf, custom development, and low-code software. The candidate
will be required to possess exceptional analytical and project
management skills, and will be responsible for gathering
requirements, creating project plans, prioritizing work, and
executing delivery with our technical teams. Success in this role
will be measured by the ability to correctly scope projects,
produce accurate timelines, and ensure that the team meets project
deadlines.The candidate must have hands-on experience with custom
development on the Microsoft stack, process automation solutions,
and other technologies as needed. Prior experience in Software
Technical Program Management or Development is required. This
critical and highly visible role reports directly to the VP of
Technology and indirectly to the Chief Operating Officer.Duties and
responsibilities As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be
responsible for leading a team of full-time employees and contract
developers to deliver mission-critical patient-facing and
line-of-business applications. Your duties will include:
- Managing complex software projects from requirements to launch,
including implementing and running project schedules, removing
obstacles, and keeping processes running efficiently.
- Collaborating with the engineering team, senior leadership, and
stakeholders to define, prioritize, and implement features,
infrastructure, processes, and workflows.
- Presenting and reporting on key initiatives to senior
leadership.
- Motivating stakeholders and constituents to resolve issues and
keep project timelines on track.
- Utilizing data to communicate project progress and status
within and across engineering and management teams and supervising
the resolution of critical issues regularly and proactively.
- Measuring success and identifying opportunities for improvement
in their systems, with hypotheses, data gathering, and quantifying
results.
- Driving the day-to-day operational aspects of software
development, coordinating across multiple stakeholders and product
owners.
- Clarifying questions and ambiguities in product requirements
and closing out interpretation gaps before requirements are
translated into Epics (Features) or User Stories and facilitating
the gathering of technical requirements.
- Identifying and managing cross-team technology dependencies and
aligning teams on roadmaps to ensure timely delivery of
initiatives.
- Ensuring that software development and Continuous
integration/Continuous delivery guidelines (Code Reviews, Unit
Tests, Code Coverage) and any other compliance requirements are
followed.
- Facilitating ongoing discussions, decision-making, and conflict
resolution and determining people, process, or technical solutions
to address issues.QualificationsRequired Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience leading software engineers and
business analysts
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer working
with .Net Framework or .Net Core and other Microsoft stack
technologies
- Strong experience in managing stakeholder relationships, agile
software development methodologies, and engineering methodologies
(Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Hands-on expertise in various technologies, including front-end
user interfaces, back-end systems, and everything in between
- Excellent communication skills to collect requirements,
describe software product features, technical designs, and product
strategy to users, other technical teams, and senior
management
- A passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and
strong collaboration skills to pull teams together
- A desire to work backwards from the customer and deliver
innovative, simple solutions
- Experience in documenting and mapping existing business
processes and creating new onesPreferred Experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, indicating
expertise in project management methodologies and best
practices.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, demonstrating
proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in integrating and supporting a
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
application.
- Prior software development experience utilizing technologies
such as React, Representational State Transfer (REST), Entity
Framework, and databases.Knowledge and experience with Microsoft
SharePoint, PowerApps, and Power Automate, indicating proficiency
in these platforms.
