Job Description:
Q Analysts is looking for an HR and Employee Relations
professional with experience in Europe. This person will serve as
our Employee Relations Manager and will guide the evolution of our
employee relations program in Europe. They will act as a steward of
Q Analysts culture, philosophy, policies, and practices in handling
employee matters and will work in close partnership with the Q
Analysts Human Resources Team in the United States. We are looking
for an Employee Relations Manager with deep experience influencing
and impacting high levels of employee satisfaction through
effective management (both proactive and reactive) of a wide range
of employee relations issues. This person will love being in the
field and constantly interacting with employees, building proactive
relationships, and facilitating issue resolution. They will be
accountable for working with employees to build trusted
relationships, while leading with warmth, empathy, compassion, and
creativity to think inside and outside of the box to drive the
right solutions.Responsibilities: The work of the successful
candidate will include: Onboarding/Offboarding support for Q
Analysts employees at all project sites and office locations in
London and Zurich.Support various policies and programs including
employee counseling and engagement, policy interpretation and
addressing sensitive work-related issues. Partner with Q
Analysts--- Human Resources Team to effectively support
investigative processes of employee complaints and resolve
conflicts, compliance, and sensitive work-related issues. Point of
contact for employee training, development and career tracking.
Execute Q Analysts employee relation programs, organize events,
forums and ad hoc training. Support performance appraisal process
and implementation as needed. Coach and counsel site managers and
employees on issues related to workplace dynamics. Partner and
coach across HR on interventions required for individuals, managers
and teams on preventing employee relations issues, effective
management of performance cases, giving performance feedback,
employee engagement and retention, inclusion, and other topics
related to manager effectiveness. Help with review and evaluation
of current and potential benefits packages for employees.Excellent
judgment and follow-up.Job requires onsite presence 34 days per
week and bi-weekly travel between our London and Zurich offices
post Covid-19. Expectations to work with staff in the USA Pacific
time zone. Skills and Qualifications:Qualifications include a
minimum of 5-8 combined years of directly applicable HR and
Employee Relations experience or an equivalent combination of
advanced training and experience. Other skills include but are not
limited to: Ability to partner with HR and legal teams to
effectively manage and all types of employee relations cases.
Excellent coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills,
including stellar communication, collaboration, case handling and
project management. Strong working knowledge of UK and Switzerland
employment laws and regulations and the ability to appropriately
spot employment risk issues. Knowledge and experience with
Performance & Development processes. Experience with a variety of
issues such as harassment, discrimination, workplace violence,
ethical issues, etc. Business and people acumen, knowledge of
consulting frameworks and models, and ability to influence
employees and managers at all levels. Demonstrated examples guiding
employees with goal setting and career developmental growth.
Ability to be highly empathetic and comfort and experience dealing
with ambiguity, change, and challenging problems. Strong diversity
and inclusion acumen. Education and Experience:A minimum of 5-8
years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations is
critical.Bachelor---s degree in related field. You must have
international experience and knowledge of international law.
Knowledge, interpretation, and application of relevant HR
best-practices, employment law standards, and workplace
investigative protocols. Experience working with engineering staff
in Big Tech companies. Location: Remote Home Office About Q
