DEVELOPMENT MANAGERThe Development Manager will perform a key role in building the agency's fundraising capacities, with a focus on donor acquisition and retention. They will be responsible for managing a variety of development activities, including fundraising campaigns, special events, corporate partnerships, and donor stewardship.FLSA STATUS: ExemptJOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• In collaboration with the Director of Development, develop and execute strategies related to fundraising and donor relations, including identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities for current and prospective donors.
• Develop and execute and evaluate multi-channel fundraising campaigns, i.e. annual appeal, targeted appeals, Giving Tuesday, ensuring that all marketing is coordinated with the Marketing and Communications Officer. Serve as Project Manager for development and execution of the annual Celebration of Youth Luncheon and other donor events.
• Partner with the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator to execute hybrid in-kind/cash giving campaigns including Back to School Backpacks, Hunger and Homeless Campaign and Giving Tree.
• Manage a corporate partnership program to develop, maintain, and grow corporate relationships and opportunities for collaboration.
• Coordinate with Development Assistant to systematize all donor cultivation activities and oversee portfolio management for self, Development Director, and CEO.
• Serve as a liaison to Board Resource Development Committee which includes managing assignments between meetings, and documenting the work of the committee.
• Assist Director of Development with Friends of Youth Foundation as needed. Research and cultivate potential donors, including developing and delivering presentations. Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue from current and new donors.
• Work with the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer, and other key stakeholders to directly engage them, as appropriate, in donor cultivation activities.

Bachelor's degree (additional relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirement).3. Experience successfully managing fundraising campaigns and events.4. Experience with donor databases and online fundraising tools.B. Additional Requirements1. Must satisfactorily pass criminal history check.2. Must have reliable transportation and a valid Washington State driver's license (or be able to obtain one by date of employment).3. Must have a safe driving record as defined by Friends of Youth.4. Must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the following minimum coverage requirements: $100,000 / $300,000 in liability insurance coverage, $10,000 in property damage coverage, and personal injury protection (PIP) for underinsured motor vehicle coverage or $300,000 Combined Single Limit Liability insurance coverage, including Underinsured Motorists coverage and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) if the employee transports clients or other persons on agency business.C.
