Job Description:
Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access
through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit
(LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to
unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon LEO
will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable
broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers,
businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating
in places without reliable connectivity Leo is looking for a Senior
Technical Program Manager (TPM) located in Redmond, WA to support
the Industrial Design, Product Design (Mechanical), Electrical
Design and Antenna Design for the Customer Terminal (CT) Projects.
As a Senior TPM, you will lead the System development of an
aviation customer terminal product, subsystem accessories, and
accessories by working closely with cross functional teams
including the Device TPM, Electrical Engineering, Product Design,
Antenna Engineering, and Industrial Design to meet Key Performance
Metrics for technical and schedule requirements. You will ensure
hardware design and deliverables align with Diagnostic and
Production Device software deliverables for key builds. You will
collaborate with the Device TPM, Product Integrity, Finance,
Operations (including Quality, Operations Program Managers,
Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) to successfully mitigate
challenges and maintain project milestone. You must be responsive,
flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer
environment. The ideal person will treat the Senior TPM with a
“Founder’s Mentality” and own all Day One deliverables like it is
their own start up. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable
export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S.
citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green
Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or
granted asylum. Key job responsibilities Senior Antenna TPM's need
strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to scale
communications to the correct audience for decisions to be made.
Emphasize speed of decision within the product development cycles
and manage critical issues through optimized prioritization of
resources and personnel. Working with overseas internal and
external teams on developing products. Scale and evolve key
processes and design review checkpoint mechanisms to enable
responsible last minute decision making on one way and two way door
decisions. Manage and communicate product development critical
issues, work collaboratively to execute solutions meeting key
product KPI and escalate as required when teams are unable to reach
a consensus or decisions are one – way door. A day in the life The
ideal candidate will be responsible for managing execution of the
Antenna Hardware, software and Accessories (cables, power supplies,
etc.) with a balance of technical skills, bias for action, customer
obsession, and ownership. The TPM will collaborate daily onsite
with the hardware and software development teams located in
Redmond, WA including Product Design, Industrial Design,
Electrical, and Antenna teams. On a weekly basis, the TPM will
create agendas and presentations leading to meetings at the
Director and VP level to make timely one way and two way door
decisions to maintain project timelines, finances, requirements and
deliverables About the team The Amazon LEO aviation team is part of
a broader initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit
satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband
connectivity to aviation users and airlines of the world. - 7 years
of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5 years of
technical program management working directly with software
engineering teams experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering,
computer science or equivalent - 5 years of aviation technical
product or program management experience with product qualification
and certification in STC or OEM programs - 5 years of project
management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality,
along with risk and critical path management experience -
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams,
building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules -
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar
businesses and reporting to senior leadership - Master's degree in
a technical field, or Master of Business Administration Amazon is

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
