offer opportunities for a Machined Parts Finisher to join our
Fabrication team in Puyallup and Auburn, Washington. As a Machined
Parts Finisher, you will be the final touch in the journey of
precision-engineered components, transforming them into flawless
pieces ready for the skies. This dynamic role allows you to work

Position Responsibilities: - Prioritize and execute jobs based on
order of priority or as assigned by the lead. - Verify that prior
operations have been completed according to the work order and
review instructions for subsequent operations. - Inspect parts for
obvious defects and ensure that quantities and part numbers match
the work order. - Collaborate with the area lead and quality focal
to review nonconformance items and engineering dispositions for
rework. - Obtain and review necessary drawings, specifications, and
documents to perform the job, utilizing online information systems
as required. - Gather hand or air-powered tools needed for the
assigned job, such as files, routers, and sanders. - Handwork part
surfaces to break sharp edges, form radii, and blend mismatches
according to drawings and specifications. - Use precision
measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to verify
dimensions and check surface finishes. - Remove tool tabs from
aluminum parts using air-powered tools, such as burr guns and
grinders, as necessary. - Check completed work to ensure operations
are finished per drawings and that there are no visible defects. -
Clean parts and mark them according to work order specifications
using appropriate tools like vibro engravers or steel stamps. -
Protectively wrap parts for transportation in accordance with work
order requirements. - Document completed operations in work orders
and/or online computer systems. - Notify the lead when a job is
complete to facilitate inspection or in-process checks. - Operate
pendant-controlled overhead cranes and pallet jacks to move parts
as required. - Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in an
approved manner, following safety regulations. - Consult with the
lead, supervisor, or others regarding process or job-related issues
as needed. - Use power equipment, such as band saws and grinders,
to remove flashings, burrs, and surface irregularities. - Perform
finishing operations, including breaking and finishing threads,
tapping, reaming, and chamfering, to complete machined parts. -
Maintain personal and tool certifications to ensure compliance with
industry standards. Physical Demands and Potential Hazards: -
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from
10-15 lbs. to 15-35 lbs. - Engage in various movements such as
reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing,
balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting. - Work in
environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and
coolants. - Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp
cutters, and potential slipping hazards. - Adapt to varying noise
levels and atmospheric conditions. - Utilize personal safety gear
to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job
duties. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options. This position must meet Export Control compliance
requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §
120.62 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful
permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Current Boeing employees

Boeing will not be considered. Basic Qualifications: - 1 year of
experience working with cutting tools and hand tools. - 1 year of
experience with various types of hand-held power tools. - Ability
to use and operate low impact vibratory tools (buffer). - Ability
to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: -
Experience working with precision measuring tools. - Experience
interpreting manufacturing blueprints. - Basic computer skills.

agreement. Shift Work Statement: - This position is for a variety

Pay: $23.32/hour, with potential to earn up to $51.82/hour in
accordance with the terms of the relevant collective bargaining
