Navigation and Control Engineers (Associate, Experienced or Senior)
to support the Flight Controls team in Everett and Renton
Washington . Position Overview: We are seeking accomplished,
self-motivated engineers to design, analyze, test, and certify
flight control systems and components for large commercial
aircraft. In addition to supporting production and fleet
operations, you will be part of a team driving the development of
new derivative airplanes and preparing for the next generation of
more capable, efficient, and safer airliners. This requisition
includes multiple positions across various flight control

Responsibilities: Resolve airplane level requirements into system
level requirements and resolve system level requirements into
component requirements with time and cost efficient validation
methods. Develop and evaluate system and subsystem architecture
alternatives to meet project objectives and requirements. Conduct
trade studies to analyze and compare alternatives, rapidly
converging on preferred configurations through system simulations
and development test programs. Lead and participate in system,
component, and detailed design efforts, ensuring thorough
documentation and adherence to schedule and cost constraints to
produce error-free, manufacturable specifications and drawings.
Lead and support system- and component-level validation activities,
including test plan development, consultation on iron bird and test
rig setups, test monitoring, analysis, report authoring, supplier
test report review and approval, failure analysis, and mitigation
strategies. Drive certification efforts by creating required
artifacts such as system safety analyses, failure modes and effects
analyses (FMEA), and fault tree analyses (FTA); ensure traceability
to regulatory requirements and resolve any regulatory conflicts.
Support ongoing production by promptly addressing build issues at
Boeing and supplier facilities, identifying and implementing design
improvements to enhance build accuracy, production rate, and line
safety, and resolving rejections, functional test failures, and
flight squawks. Provide subject matter expertise to support global
fleet operations, responding to airline and regulator inquiries,
leading resolution of Service Related Problems (SRPs), and
analyzing flight incidents to inform Safety Review Board (SRB)
recommendations for the Continued Operational Safety Program
(COSP). Collaborate effectively across functions and organizations
within and outside Boeing, including manufacturing, avionics, crew
operations, airplane safety, aerodynamics, supply chain management,
BCA systems software, suppliers, airline customers, and regulatory
agencies. Work Authorization: This position is expected to be 100%
onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
Everett or Renton, WA. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited
course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes
manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics,
mathematics, data science, or computer science. 1 years of
technical experience in an aerospace or similar regulated industry
environment. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience. 5 years of related work experience or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Experience with ARP 4754 and ARP 4761. Experience with
flight controls system and component architecture. Experience in
requirements development, design, analysis, and verification &
validation of flight control systems. Experience using requirement
management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS. Experience with
manufacturing regulated and certified, safety critical components
and software. Experience with Systems Safety Analysis, failure
modes and effects analysis; fault tree analysis; common cause
analysis, and single & multiple failure analysis. Conflict of

considerations. Summary Pay Range: Associate (Level 2): $100,000 -
$136,000 Experienced (Level 3): $124,000 - $168,000 Senior (Level
