Nature & Scope: Positional Overview Imagine Staffing is recruiting
for a Maintenance Technician II on behalf of our client, a national
leader within the renewable Energy/Solar industry, in Burlington,

Technician II, you will be responsible for performing facility and
process equipment preventative maintenance, attending to equipment
downtime as required, and completing various projects related to
maintenance and engineering requests Role & Responsibility: Tasks
That Will Lead to Your Success Maintain compliance with all Company
policies. Maintain personal compliance with the Occupational Health
and Safety Act and recommend measures to improve health and safety
within the facility. Demonstrate safe work practices and follow
company safety policies, procedures, and regulations including but
not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out practices. Provide recommendations
to improve preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to optimize
equipment availability. Be an effective team player and work well
with all other departments. Adhere to work orders and utilize CMMS
system for data entry. Perform unplanned and planned (preventative
and predictive) maintenance on production and facility equipment as
required, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS) to record work completed. Complete small electrical and/or
mechanical projects as directed by Team Lead or Supervisor.
Diagnose basic to medium complex electrical systems mechanical
components, pneumatic components, and controls to identify hazards,
defects, and need for adjustments, repairs, or programming.
Maintain and perform repairs on equipment to restore them to
proper, safe, and optimal working conditions. Support installation,
set up, modification, and relocation of equipment to accommodate or
improve production requirements. Read electrical and electronic
schematics/diagrams, and basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
Test low voltage electrical and electronic equipment and components
for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Maintain an
organized workplace that complies with housekeeping requirements.
If certified, wire new control panels according to supplied drawing
and verbal instructions while adhering to Hydro Codes and other
applicable standards and regulations. If certified, make trade
calculations for load requirements and select appropriate
sizes/grades of components in accordance with current electrical
code. If certified, run new power supply lines to new/relocated
equipment according to IEE wiring regulations, Electrical Safety
Code, and company policy. Skills & Experience: Qualifications That
Will Help You Thrive Ability to read wiring diagrams,
electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics,
andladder/function block logic. Working knowledge of industrial PCs
and PLCs (SiemensStep 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.) and electric
circuitry consisting of contactors, relays,
mainvoltage/controlvoltage, limit switches andproximity sensors
Knowledge of equipment set up, functions, operating procedures, and
preventative maintenance techniques. Ability to troubleshoot on
electrical and mechanical equipment, PLC systems, Robots, AC & DC
drives, servo drives, motion controls, safety sensors, and relays.
Basic knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems is
preferred. Strong analytical,communication, and
organizationalskills. Strong attention to detail and ability to
multi-task as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for daily
tasks. Ability to work rotating shifts, overnights, weekends,
holidays, and overtime, as needed. Must be able to lift upwards of
50lbs. Knowledge of electrical or hydraulic systems preferred.
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferred.
Command of maintenance procedures and techniques preferred.
Forklift or scissor lift certification or experience preferred.
