your future with us. Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking
for an Experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join the Prevention
and Work Movement Team, based out of Everett, WA. As an Experienced
Supplier Quality Engineer , you will work on developing and
implementing preventive measures/processes to identify and mitigate
risk in the supply base. The selected candidate will work within a
start-up and diverse team and in a dynamic environment to shape the
long-term strategy for escape prevention. We are looking for an
individual who is passionate about problem solving, engaging with
the production system, and doing complex data analysis. Quality
Engineers support existing production through process improvement
techniques involving defect reduction, verification system design
and improvements, and ensure compliance with requirements. Our
quality engineers get involved in complex engineering and
production challenges and have a critical role in the continuous
improvement of our quality management system, products, and

relationships. Position Responsibilities: Represents Quality
function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing
Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of
proposals and program processes and documentation Provides Quality
interpretation of requirements and takes active role in internal
process improvement Develops quality metrics, design and production
certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with
contractual, Company and regulatory requirements Conducts
capability assessments and process validations to support supplier
selection activities Participates in various reviews to ensure
quality attributes are incorporated into product designs and
supplier future contracts Analyzes non-conformance trends to
evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions Recommends corrective
actions to address non-conformances Performs benchmarking and other
forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels
are achieved Collaborate with supply chain daily and related
stakeholders to identify and address risks associated with work
movement within the supply base Serves as the central point for
coordinating multi-team assessments by assigning tasks, tracking
progress, and resolving inter-team issues. Works under general
direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree in
technical, engineering, or STEM field from an ABET accredited
institution 4 years of experience working in a quality job role 3
years of experience working in a quality job role 3 years of
experience working with Quality Standards such as ISO9001, AS9100,
ISO1400 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering
drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading,
Boeing specifications (BAC), change, design) 3 years of experience
in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing
findings; and developing conclusions 3 years of experience working
with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action,
Root Cause Corrective Action Experience in a role that required
strong written and verbal communication skills Able to travel up to
10% of time Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in the aerospace industry Experience with risk
assessment methodologies and experience in supplier audits (e.g.,
FMEA, system, product, and process audit assessment) Experience,
and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools
such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience with
utilizing analytic skills: collect, organize, synthesize, and
analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and
recommendations from appropriate data sources Experience with
Engineering Process Improvement Methods: knowledge of producibility
and process improvement methodologies (e.g., statistical process
control (SPC), Six-Sigma) Experience with conducting First Article
Inspection and/or reviewing AS9102 forms Experience leading
cross-functional teams Ability to present technical findings to
various levels of leadership Familiar with core supply chain
processes and terminology. Collaborates well with cross-functional
teams or Team-focused with strong interpersonal communication
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically
acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited
course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including
manufacturing engineering technology), computer science,
engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or
an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or
non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is
the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Shift: Successful candidates will work 1st shift but should expect
to work flexible hours as appropriate to business needs. Union:
