working in space to benefit Earth. This position is Friday- Sunday
and is scheduled for 36 hours, but the employee will receive an 11%
weekend shift pay uplift. As such, the position is paid the
equivalent of the 40-hour Monday-Friday shift. As part of a diverse
and hardworking team of specialists, we perform environmental
testing of flight hardware for various spaceflight systems. In this
hands-on position we work directly with a small team operating and
maintaining the environmental test equipment we use. Additional
responsibilities include: C-Shift is Fri/Sat/Sun 12 hr days
(0600-1800) Conduct hands-on thermal, vibration, shock and vacuum
testing on flight hardware in accordance with MIL-STD-810,
SMC-S-016 and MIL-STD-1540 Proven track record working with flight
and safety critical hardware, tools and shop equipment, high
pressure gas and electrical systems. Operate and maintain equipment
including data systems, environmental chambers, vibration systems
and instrumentation systems Conduct and/or coordinate several test
projects simultaneously while supporting operations schedules
Configure test setups, fixtures and instrumentation according to
work instructions Generate test plans, test reports, procedures,
and work instructions from customer requirements Maintain
cleanliness of test equipment and test lab Identify, communicate,
and mitigate cost, schedule and technical risks Participate in
Process/Job Hazard Assessments Weekends and OT dependent on company
needs We are looking for a highly motivated, self starting

our mission and vision is required!! Qualifications: Aerospace
testing experience and fundamental understanding working with test
equipment Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings,
standards and technical requirements Demonstrated familiarity with
data acquisition systems, data analysis and data processing Strong
safety attitude and experience, including hands-on experience
planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations Ability to
earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and
chip in to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or
national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or
lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired: A.S. in engineering field (mechanical, electrical, or
physics desired) Previous experience operating test equipment of a
similar magnitude Skills using Creo or other modeling and drafting
software Experience in using automation applications such as
LabView or similar tools 2+ years' experience in a similar work
environment Ability to use test instrumentation: pressure
transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers,
flow meters, load cells, relays, solenoid valves, preferred Ability
to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics and
reports Experienced with high pressure systems. Experienced with
hydraulic system design and handling Experience using test
