Requisition Summary Lead a team of talented financial accountants partnering with Engineering senior management to develop and monitor financial budgets supporting design of The World's Best - -trucks. Current engineering initiatives include zero emissions solutions and advanced drive assistance technologies. - Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Directs the preparation of timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports, including journal entries, account reconciliations and monthly management reporting.
  • Analyze operating expenses, reserves, and other account balances ensuring timely and accurate financial and management reporting.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to maximize profit and return on investment.
  • Lead capital budget post-implementation ROI audits.
  • Recommends, directs, and implements accounting and operation system enhancements for improved efficiency, cost reduction and appropriate internal controls.
  • Coordinates annual external compliance audit of grant funded programs
  • Analyze complex transactions and recommend appropriate US GAAP treatment.
  • Maintain effective communication as a member of the management team.
  • Ensure Corporate and Division policies, procedures and internal controls are effective and operating.
  • Participates in adhoc requests and/or special projects as assigned.
  • Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills required.
  • Strong leadership and supervisor skills, emphasizing continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage multiple projects from beginning to end.
  • Deadline driven and self-motivated.
  • SOX knowledge and experience.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point). Education Required Education/Training Experience
    • BS / BA Accounting Degree
    • 8 - 12 years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility Desired Education/Training Experience

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for Director of Engineering -Accounting is $104,000 - $182,500 annually. This position is also eligible for annual incentive bonus compensation -with a target of 25% of base pay . Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
