Functions / Responsibilities
- Be part of a team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers
supporting development projects for new engines, zero-emissions
powertrains, and self-driving vehicles
- Provide Simultaneous Manufacturing Engineering input to Design
Engineering and coordinate plant input and feedback
- Develop Manufacturing and Operations functional requirements
documents and validation plans for software and hardware testing
and programming
- Complete all necessary Manufacturing Documents per the approved
schedule
- Develop, assess, and implement processes to test and validate
new truck systems technologies prior to production
implementation
- Assist in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and
lead efforts in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA),
where appropriate
- Review and develop new technologies for manufacturing,
assembling, programming, and testing components and systems
- Supervises the acquisition and implementation of
project-related capital tooling assetsQualifications & Skills
- B.S.in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering or a
related field
- EIT certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability gained through 3-5years of progressively
complex engineering assignments
- Training in DFSS is required and training in Advanced Quality
Systems is desirable
- Knowledge of software development V-cycle is desirable
- Understanding of J1939 communications protocol and heavy
vehicle electrical architecture
- Experience developing automated test routines for electrical
systems is desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation
skills
- Excellent organizational, PC, and project management
skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing

training, or experience. The salary range for Advanced
Manufacturing Engineer is$93,000 - $145,500annually. This position
is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is
