Job Summary Kenworths Zero Emissions department has an Outerbody Engineering Supervisor opening. This individual will lead a team of engineers in the area of Outerbody development for zero emissions vehicles. The successful candidate must coordinate the development strategy and design activities across multiple divisions of PACCAR to meet program goals. The ideal candidate will lead this team to deliver key technologies and production solutions that continue to enhance PACCARs reputation as an industry leader in the development of fuel-efficient and green solutions. Here's what you will do in this role:

• Lead a team of engineers to design, assemble, troubleshoot, validate, and support field test trucks.
• Manage team deliverables across multiple projects and programs at various stages of development (Definition, Concept, Engineering, and Verification/Validation), and adapt job responsibilities within the team to ensure successful completion.
• Supervise design and release of components and systems specific to team responsibilities.
• Work with counterparts throughout PACCAR to provide a global approach to designs and process, and maintain corporate specifications where appropriate
• Develop and maintain department and program resource plans and budgets related to development team.
• Provide written and verbal updates to PACCAR senior management on product development progress, program objectives, department strategic goals, or globally aligned roadmaps
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers across a variety of disciplines.
• Up to 10% travel (domestic and international) Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 7+ years of industry-related background in the design and specification of automotive or HD truck components.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Willingness to grow personally and professionally, ready to learn and make use of new engineering processes and techniques. Be resourceful in solving complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve timely objectives.
• Significant experience with advanced features in Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint preferred.
• Willingness to be hands-on, develop prototypes and support on-the-ground testing.

The salary range for Engineering Supervisor BEV Outerbody is $102,700 - $160,700 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
