Do you have AutoCAD experience and have an interest in residential design and construction? This rapidly growing Kirkland-area company is looking for drafters to join their Architecture and Design team! Lots of opportunity for growth and development with this organization!
This company, the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high-quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries.
The Architecture CAD Drafter will create and maintain construction documents and sales collaterals for the Division.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONSThis position is required onsite full-time in the Kirkland office.Onsite COVID-19 precautions include:

  RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Draft and maintain plan drawing sets for permitting/construction
  • Assist in correspondence with Architects, Engineers and Construction
  • Assist in the coordination of plan revisions and or/corrections with other company departments to include
  • Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Construction
  • Assist Architecture and Design with any special projects as needed, such as 3D Modeling or creating color diagrams for Paint Schemes
  • Assist Architecture and Design with special projects such as temporary sales office conversions or drafting construction documents for community monuments.
  • Additional duties as assigned
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • AA, Technical or Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred (Bachelor's in Architecture is ideal)
    • 6 months+ related experience preferred, not required
    • Strong AutoCAD proficiency required
    • Revit, Sketch-up and Photoshop proficiency preferred
    • MS Office and Email proficiency required
    • A high interest in residential design and construction
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via Company applications
      
      Compensation: $55k - $65k/yr DOE + $5k - $8k bonus potentialAvailability: Monday - Friday, flexible within office hours of 7am - 5pm - Will start in the Kirkland office, and will move to Federal Way office (32001 32nd Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98001) July/August.
