Responsible for developing and managing the capital budget,
purchasing lab equipment and supplies, overseeing external
manufacturing contracts, creating purchase orders, reconciling
invoices, and driving cost-saving initiatives. Partners with
Finance, Site Engineering, and laboratory teams to ensure timely,
cost-efficient procurement and budget alignment across Cell Therapy
Development & Operations. Key Responsibilities Capital Equipment
Purchasing: Collaborate with laboratory staff to understand
equipment specifications and budget constraints. Proactively engage
with vendors and auction houses to identify the most competitive
pricing options, ensuring alignment with budget goals and
maximizing cost-saving opportunities. Request and review supplier
quotations, proposals, and product demonstrations to support
informed purchasing decisions. Lab Supply Purchasing: Verify
accuracy of supply order requests. Research and identify suppliers,
compare prices and delivery options, and monitor order status to
ensure timely delivery. External Manufacturing Contracts & SOWs:
Provide support related to drafting, routing, and tracking for all
SoWs, Purchase Orders, and Invoices related to External Management
Purchases which include External Manufacturing, Analytical Testing,
and Development Services Invoice Reconciliation: Track invoice
status, resolve discrepancies, and provide analysis on processing
time, accuracy, and cost-saving opportunities. Budget & Cost
Management: Research cost estimates, evaluate feasibility and
long-term value of purchases, monitor expenditures, and ensure
compliance with approved budgets. Analyze pricing structures and
negotiate favorable terms with suppliers. Systems & Tools: Utilize
BMS platforms such as Ariba, SAP, Access, Icertis, Tableau,
SharePoint, RPM, and Basware for procurement, inventory, financial
management, contract creation, and reporting. Certificates/Security
Clearances/Other Compensation Overview: Seattle - WA: $70,500 -
$85,428 Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications &
Experience Bachelor's degree and minimum 1 year of relevant
industry experience Highly motivated self-starter; effective both
independently and in teams. Strong project management, business
process optimization, and organizational skills. Proven ability to
meet deadlines and commitments in a dynamic environment. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical and logical
decision-making, with proficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel
and Word. Experience building relationships, negotiating, and
driving engagement. Preferred: Experience with program management
tools for forecasting budgets/resources, purchase requisition, and
