results. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join
the WW Pricing Finance team. Pricing is integral to Amazon’s
ability to deliver on its everyday low price promise to customers.
With millions of products available on Amazon, Pricing develops
technology to compute and publish prices for every retail item in
Amazon’s global catalog, delivering competitive prices across full
range of products and automating decision-making. The Finance
Manager will be a critical partner to the Director of Pricing and
support financial modeling and decision making processes for
strategic initiatives across the global Stores business. The
successful candidate will have excellent analytical, financial
modeling, and communication skills. They will possess strong
business partnership and project management skills and collaborate
effectively with stakeholders. The candidate will also possess the
leadership to influence, bias for action, the passion to think big
while driving business results, and developing a world class team.
Key job responsibilities - Manage and develop the financial
planning and analysis processes for Amazon’s Global Pricing team. -
Work closely with pricing team to set up, execute and analyze
pricing experiments to drive long term free cash flow. - Provide
critical insights to the Pricing leadership team by owning weekly
and monthly reporting processes. - Build and maintain in depth
knowledge across key business areas by staying current on
initiatives, challenges/opportunities across the business. A day in
the life This role will own end-to-end financial reporting and
analysis for pricing, working backwards from customer needs to
deliver actionable insights. This includes building scalable
financial models and conducting deep-dive analyses to uncover
variance drivers and identify opportunities for optimization. The
role will partner with cross-functional teams across multiple
geographies to implement best practices and drive standardization
at scale. The role will deliver written and verbal communications
that are data-driven, concise, and compelling to influence senior
leadership decisions. About the team The Finance team for this role
supports the Global Pricing team, whose vision is to provide
customers with low, competitive prices across our entire selection,
simplify discovery of our best offers, and earn trust by
transparently helping customers understand price quality and value.
- 5 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5 years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience - 6
years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 6
years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to
analyses experience - 6 years of building financial and operational
reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience -
6 years of creating process improvements with automation and
analysis experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics
or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5 years of quantitative role
(engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- 6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying
the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
experience - 6 years of solving complex business challenges by
delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and
recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g.,
financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
experience - MBA, or CPA - Knowledge of SQL/ETL - Experience
working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples:
SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems
(examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering
forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
