High Volume Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:

We are a well established company looking to add a high volume A/P Specialist for coding and posting of vendor invoices to ensure proper expense allocation and timely payment. We work hard and play hard! We communicate and have fun.

Details:

* Process high volume Accounts Payable vendor invoices related to operations that include marketing, sales and general/administration

* Review and monitor purchase orders and receive invoices against them and also make sure purchase order references are reflected on all invoices before processing.

* Reconcile any discrepancies with vendors and company personnel

* Obtain invoice approval from managers prior to payment

* Ensure invoices are posted to the proper account and department with proper coding

* Process employee expense reports for payment

* Enter vendor invoices in system

* Produce weekly check run; print checks for signature

* Setup and maintain all Accounts Payable files

Required

Two year AA Degree in Accounting with 3 or more years high volume accounts payable experience preferred

? Familiar with online payment processing for wires

? Great communication skills verbal and written to work with high volume correspondence internally and externally.

? Help improve accounts payable process and identify inefficiencies for improvements

? Ability to work with diverse teams locally and remotely and comfortable reaching out to various members of the accounting team for solutions

? Efficiency with Microsoft office suites, Outlook, Excel and word.

? Experience with Accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Great Plains, Oracle, or SAP highly desirable
