  • Prepare and review month end trial balances and supporting schedules within deadlines for two of our Brands
  • Ensure that all balance sheets accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Maintain various financial workbooks & schedules, ensuring accuracy & consistency throughout
  • Prepare and review various management reports
  • Develop, implement, review and document processes to ensure they comply with standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
  • Identify and action opportunities for improved accounting and reporting processes and policies, etc.
  • Provide support for the Operating Group VP when required
  • Plan and prepare for the annual audit
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports to support management decision-making
  • Other ad-hoc items may be assigned from time to time Required Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    • 5 plus years of experience in a similar accounting environment
    • Experience working in organizations of various sizes (large, mid and small-size organizations)
    • Experience working with Prophet 21 is an asset Timely Decision Making
